While our specific investment thesis may vary from fund to fund, there are 5 core areas that we believe are critical to evaluating a great investment

We look for coachable teams with strong leadership capability, team dynamic, and the ability to execute. We look for teams with strong EQ as well as IQ. - Market & Customer Validation
The market for startups can be hard to measure. We look for founders who have a disciplined approach to customer discovery, problem/market validation, and a laser focus on finding product market fit. - Data Driven Approach
We believe the best entrepreneurs tell their story through data. We look for teams that understand the role data/KPIs/OKRs have on resourced constrained startups. We seek teams that integrate data into every aspect of their organization. - Capital Efficiency
We champion a capital efficient approach to building a great startup. We believe capital efficiency teaches teams to be creative and to focus their resources on the most important operational objectives. - Location
Our focus is finding outstanding founders and opportunities outside of the established coastal startup ecosystems. We actively seek companies in markets underserved by traditional venture capital funds.
